Our School History

The FGEI (C/G) Federal is an attached department of Ministry of Defence. The education system is generally divided into six levels: preschool, primary, middle, high intermediate, leading to a Higher Secondary. FGEI Directorate manages 311 Schools and 44 colleges Spread all over the country, FG Public School No.06 (Girls) Wah Cantt is one of the most remarkable institution.
FG Public School No.06 (Girls) Wah Cantt was established in 1952 in Wah Cantt locality situated on mall road. In 1981 this Public School was bifurcate in augurated as FG Public High School and FG Junior Public School with Cantt.
Similarly in 01-04-1999 realizing the need of separate school for girls and boys a board was constituted at Regional Level to lock through the feasibility of a separate Girl's High School. So it was suggested to establish the Junior Public School as FG Public School Girls campus.

Since its bifurcation School is functioning independently up to SSC Level, providing excellent results in academic and co-curricular activities with in the resources of Primary School. Later on, its name had been changed as FG Public School No.6 (Girls) Wah Cantt on 06.07.2015.
The main aims and objectives of the institution is to transform the FGEIS network into one of the established educational system of the country and to provide purposeful Armed Forces personnel as well as of civilians, residing in cantonments /garrisons and providing healthy educational environment. So as to make them useful members of society. Director General Brig Asif visited the school in 2016. It is an honour of our institution that Alia Riaz present (cricket) National team player is our alumni. School Building is comprised of 27 x classroom, 01 x staff room 01 x principal's office, 01 x clerk office, 01 x Library, 01 x Science Laboratory, 01 x computer lab, 01 x Exam Hall, 01 x big ground, 15 x bathroom
Staff of the School is consisted of the Principal Madam Rahat Bashir, Vice Principal Madam Rashida Parveen, 19 x Permanent teachers 12 x Honorary Teachers and 09 x Non Teaching Staff.
